The sound of women’s day is all around. With all the special treats and discounts at various places to make women feel special. That left me wondering – Is this that what will make me happy? Or is there something deep inside that needs to be fixed – to be happy?
Well, no doubt women’s day is a lot about showing love, care and respect for women. But I would say, women deserve a lot more. We must be loved, cared for and respected every single day – rather every moment. And who do you think should do that?
Undoubtedly – We women ourselves. Yes, you heard it right! Now is the time that we love our self and respect everything we do or choose in life. If we are not able to love ourselves the way we are or respect our feelings and aspirations, how can we expect others to do so?
So, here we are, beginning the new era, making us more responsible for our wellbeing. As new-age women, we must understand that we need to be healthy, stress-free and happy for our wellbeing. We have all the right to be happy – it is just that we need to put ourselves on the priority list. Yes, our friends and family often revolve around us – for some, we are the role models while others always grab our love and attention. But for us to be able to continue with our responsibilities, we must first be responsible and considerate to ourselves. Only if we stand strong, we will be able to successfully carry out our tasks. If we are happy from within, truly stress-free, we will do justice to ourselves and our loved ones.
So, this is the time to take charge of our health and wellness – both physically and emotionally. Come, join us and discover ‘The Happy You’ today. This Women’s day, Unleash our true self and be happy with theses easy tips
1. Wake up with a smile – It is good to wake up early as it can give you some time to prepare. The first thing that you will enjoy is smiling at yourself. That brings in the positivity and shows that life is beautiful. No wonder, your dressing matters a lot to you. But wearing a smile on your face will not only make you look good but also feel good.
2. Get moving – Relaxing in the bed may be good only for some time. For a real energy boost, get up and get moving. Cardio activities that pump up your heart rate are good. Daily physical exercises or yoga helps relieve muscle tension and general fatigue. Regular workout makes you feel refreshed, active and makes you ready to take on the day more positively.
3. Know your worth – Needless to mention, women are leading in almost every field and we all are proud of it. You too must be aware of your strengths – so be happy about it. While we all have some weaknesses to work upon, recognition of your talents gives you more strength. Look beyond imperfections and accept yourself – love yourself. Value yourself for all you are and keep striving for your goals.
4. Give your best – This is my personal favorite – Give Your Best, Don’t Expect! It is believed that expectations bring in all the misery. Unmet expectations make you feel disappointed, which is when sadness creeps in. Rather, if you just focus on your duties and goals in life, give in your best, you are more likely to be happy.
5. Speak up – While you continue with your best efforts if something is bothering you – speak up! Piling up the issue will cause more stress. Connect with the person and clear off any confusion. Communication is the key to happiness.
6. Slow down when needed – At times you may feel overburdened with responsibilities and a lot being expected from you. Avoid getting pressurized by the need to perform. Do not feel that you need to be everywhere or do everything. It is ok to be natural and do what you can comfortably do, without causing much stress.
7. Sleep well – All the while, you must have heard that you need a good sleep to prevent those dark circles. But something more important is that good sleep can release you from the circle of darkness. Simply said – adequate sleep will relieve your stress, anxiety and negative thoughts, making you feel great and look great.
8. Have positive people around – Life is full of hardships but those can be changed into learning experiences and fun moments too. Stay positive and hopeful, as every day begins with a new sunrise. Avoid pessimistic people as they can cause hindrance in your growth and happiness. With positive and cheerful people around, it is easier and enjoyable to sail through.
9. Find your ‘Me-time’ – This is exclusively your time – spend ‘me-time’ doing things you enjoy. Reading a book, painting, listening to music, dancing or simply enjoying nature’s beauty or grabbing a cup of coffee. Do anything that you enjoy and feel grateful for your life.
10. Enjoy every moment – Know that every moment is unique – so is every experience and emotion. So live your moment to the fullest, be it with friends, family, colleagues or just with yourself. Cherish the memories and move forward with positivity and hope.
Remember, there are no happy moments – it is you who will make every moment happy with your thoughts and willingness. So, be happy, be healthy. Don’t let troubles stop you.
Every day can be enjoyable if you learn to be happy – discover ‘The Happy You’ this women’s day!
